Verdandi's Prayerbook

(A well-worn prayerbook)

Though the horrors of the abyss obscure my gaze,
My steps toward the promised land shall not falter.

Though my path may lead to certain doom,
I shall gladly throw myself into it if salvation is promised in the end.

May I not falter on the path forseen by the young prophet.
May I have the courage to walk alongside her to the very end.

But if there is one thing I may wish,
May the young prophet's prophecies about herself be false...
