AION 2 Global Halloween: coins, keys and rewards
Earn a skeleton skin, resources and tickets with Pumpkin Coins, and turn dungeon fragments into colored keys. Here are the rewards, limits and deadlines.
Trick or Treat has two reward paths: trade Pumpkin Coins from attendance and missions at the event merchant, or use dungeon fragments to craft colored keys. This guide covers how to take part, what your currency can buy and which items to use before they are removed.

Event dates and daily login rewards
Trick or Treat runs in AION 2 Global for NA and EU. Its start and end are tied to scheduled maintenance; the announcement does not give exact opening or closing times.
Open the Attendance menu to claim the event rewards. Days 1–6 and 8–13 award 35 Pumpkin Coins each; days 7 and 14 award 100 each. Claiming all 14 rewards gives 620 coins: 12 × 35 + 2 × 100.
Attendance rewards can be claimed once per server. Logging in on another character does not start a separate reward track. The rules do not say that all 14 attendance days must be consecutive.
| Region | Starts | Ends |
|---|---|---|
| NA | After maintenance on October 13, 2026, PDT | Before maintenance on November 3, 2026, PST |
| EU | After maintenance on October 14, 2026, CEST | Before maintenance on November 4, 2026, CET |
The listed daily attendance reset is 00:00 PDT / 09:00 CEST. The announcement does not give a separate reset time after daylight saving time ends; check the in-game timer.
Editor’s advice
Claim the available login reward, then check which event missions fit the activities you were planning to do.
Missions that award Pumpkin Coins
Open Season Mission and select the Event tab. Before starting your usual activities, check which ones count toward Halloween missions.
Each of the ten missions rewards you once per week per server. Completing the full weekly list gives 235 coins: five missions worth 25, one worth 30 and four worth 20. This limit is shared by your characters on the same server; it is not another 235 coins for each alt.
| Mission | Coins per completion |
|---|---|
| Defeat 10 monsters in the Abyss | 25 |
| Clear a Transcendence Dungeon once | 25 |
| Clear Expedition Conquest once | 25 |
| Clear Ascension Trial once | 25 |
| Clear Nightmare once, at any stage | 25 |
| Log in 3 times | 30 |
| Obtain 1 piece of Unique Gear | 20 |
| Use 5 Scrolls | 20 |
| Participate in Dimensional Invasion once | 20 |
| Participate in Shugo Festival once | 20 |
Editor’s advice
Pick the dungeons and activities that suit you, then check your mission progress afterward. The mission requiring 3 logins does not specify three consecutive days.
Where to find the merchant and what rewards cost
Elyos can find the merchant in Verteron, at Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village. Asmodians should look in Altgard, at Safe Haven and Nornir Assembly.
The table lists the price for one purchase. Most items require level 10; Odyle Energy and the Lower Abyss Rift Stone require level 45. A per-server limit does not give each alt a separate allowance.
All event items are non-tradable. Claimed rewards go straight into your inventory.
| Item | Coins | Purchase limit | Level |
|---|---|---|---|
| Special Halloween Chest | 250 | 1 per server for the event | 10 |
| Odyle Energy (Bound) | 10 | 4 per server per week | 45 |
| Lower Abyss Rift Stone (Bound) | 30 | 2 per server per week | 45 |
| Skin Chest (10 times) (Bound) | 15 | 5 per server per week | 10 |
| Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) | 2 | 10 per server per week | 10 |
| Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound) | 3 | 7 per server per week | 10 |
| Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket (Bound) | 7 | 3 per server per week | 10 |
| Shugo Festival Reward Key (Bound) | 7 | 3 per server per week | 10 |
| Life Crystal (Bound) | 2 | 20 per character; no weekly reset stated | 10 |
| Halloween Candy | 2 | 10 per character; no weekly reset stated | 10 |
| Halloween Cookie | 2 | 10 per character; no weekly reset stated | 10 |
| Superior Power Shard (Bound) | 1 | No limit stated | 10 |
What to spend your coins on first
If you want the Halloween skin, set aside 250 coins for the Special Halloween Chest first. You can buy it once per server for the event. Opening it gives both rewards: 1 Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals. You do not have to choose between them.
Spend the remaining coins on the activities you play. From level 45, the weekly shop allowance includes up to 4 Odyle Energy for 40 coins and up to 2 Lower Abyss Rift Stones for 60 coins.
Buy tickets and keys for activities you actually plan to run. For example, all 7 weekly Instant Clear Tickets for Daily Dungeons cost 21 coins: 7 × 3. Three Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets or three Shugo Festival Reward Keys also cost 21 coins for each separate item.
Fragment keys: a separate set of rewards
The event also has Candy Key Fragments, earned from completing Expedition and Transcendence Dungeons. Coins and fragments are separate currencies, so keep track of them separately.
Use the event Substance Morphs to turn 60 fragments into 1 key of your chosen color, with a 100% success rate. You can craft each of the three colored keys once per week per server. Opening all three candies therefore takes 180 fragments. The keys open event candies placed in towns.
Opening a candy gives you its entire reward set. You do not receive just one random item from the list.
Red Candy
Key cost: 60 fragments
1 key of this color per server per week
- Growth Pet Chest (Bound) ×20
- Battle Enhance Scroll (Bound) ×10
- Halloween Candy ×5 Halloween Candy (Bound)
- Halloween Cookie ×5 Halloween Cookie (Bound)
Yellow Candy
Key cost: 60 fragments
1 key of this color per server per week
- Abyss Points ×10000
- Life Crystal (Bound) ×10
- Halloween Candy ×5 Halloween Candy (Bound)
- Halloween Cookie ×5 Halloween Cookie (Bound)
Blue Candy
Key cost: 60 fragments
1 key of this color per server per week
- Odyle Energy (Bound) ×4
- Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) ×10
- Halloween Candy ×5 Halloween Candy (Bound)
- Halloween Cookie ×5 Halloween Cookie (Bound)
Choose a color for the rewards you need: red for Growth Pet Chests and Battle Enhance Scrolls, yellow for Abyss Points and Life Crystals, or blue for Odyle Energy and Resurrection Spiritstones. The announcement does not state how many fragments drop per run or how quickly you can farm them.
There is another recipe: 1 fragment produces 10 Superior Power Shards with a 100% success rate. No limit is listed. If you are saving for a key, remember that this exchange uses the same fragments.
What Halloween Candy and Cookies do
Both consumables last 5 minutes. Candy boosts Attack and Defense; Cookies boost maximum HP and MP. Both improve Stamina and its natural regeneration.
| Consumable | Effect for 5 minutes |
|---|---|
| Halloween Candy | Attack 25; Defense 250; Max Stamina 300; Natural Stamina Regen 40%. |
| Halloween Cookie | Max HP 500; Max MP 250; Max Stamina 300; Natural Stamina Regen 40%. |
Use a consumable before a fight where its stats will help. The announcement does not say whether Candy and Cookies stack with each other or with other buffs; check in game before counting on both effects at once.
When coins, keys and consumables disappear
The event closing and item removal have separate deadlines. Exchanges end before maintenance, so having currency left in your inventory does not mean you can still spend it.
Pumpkin Coins will be removed after the event ends, with no separate exact time stated. Keys, fragments and some rewards have the following removal deadlines:
| Items removed | NA | EU |
|---|---|---|
| Halloween Candy, Halloween Cookies, fragments and keys of all three colors | November 3, 2026, 23:00 PST | November 4, 2026, 08:00 CET |
| Special Halloween Chest, Odyle Energy, Resurrection Spiritstones, Instant Clear Tickets for Daily Dungeons, Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets, and Shugo Festival Reward Keys | December 15, 2026, 23:00 PST | December 16, 2026, 08:00 CET |
Spend your coins and use event keys before the shop closes. Open the Special Halloween Chest before it is removed in December. The chest deadline does not establish a removal date for the skin and Pet Soul Crystals it contains; the announcement gives no such deadline for those rewards.
A quick event checklist
- Claim attendance rewards and watch the reset timer. The full track of 14 rewards gives 620 coins.
- Open the event Season Missions and combine suitable missions with your usual activities.
- If you want the skin, reserve 250 coins. Spend the rest on rewards you can use, taking level requirements and limits into account.
- Keep Expedition and Transcendence fragments separate from your coin budget: 60 fragments make one colored key.
- Do not leave currency exchanges until after the event closes. Check the removal dates and use temporary rewards in time.
