II. The Days After the Bulwark

As soon as the Bulwark was raised, Odyle outside the Bulwark began fading rapidly, weakening the Daeva. Realizing this, the Balaur intensified their invasion.
Although Zikel had used most of his strength to raise the Bulwark, he had no place to rest or retreat. Leading a host of his few remaining archons, he took the fight to the Balaur. His once-crowded sanctum became a fortress of war and a refuge for the homeless.
